Bachchan and Bachche - Big B’s onscreen journey with kids

Superstar of the Millennium, Amitabh Bachchan, may have worked with many top actors and actresses in his illustrious career, but believe it or not he seems to have the maximum fun when he is in the company of small children. What’s more? Big B himself loves sharing screen space with these talented tiny tots, be it in films or advertisements. Bhoothnath

Its summer vacation time and B.R. Films have decided that this is the best possible time to release their latest film Bhoothnath, which is a heartwarming story of a small child and a ghost. While the ghost (who later becomes a dost) is played by none other than Amitabh Bachchan, the chotta bachcha in this case is played by Aman Siddique. Aman who has earlier worked with Big B in a couple of advertisements, seems completely at ease sharing screen space with one of the biggest stars in the country. As for the Big B, he is also having fun playing the friendly ghost with panache.

Cheeni Kum

This sugar-free romance between a 34 year old Tabu and a 64 year young Amitabh Bachchan had some really sweet moments (pun intended). And while Big B and Tabu’s on-screen chemistry did take everyone by surprise, the film’s supporting cast also stood out with their superb acting. While veterans like Paresh Rawal and Zohra Sehgal were as usual dependable, it was 9 year old Swini Khara who played Big B’s loquacious neighbor ‘Sexy’ who got the maximum applause. Swini who has been seen in some T.V. serials before this literally stole the show each time she cracked those one- liners with Big B. This film is yet another instance of Big B sharing excellent chemistry with his child co-star.
