Her ‘mommy’ act in ‘Ta Ra Rum Pum’ and her upscale escort role in ‘Laaga Chunari Mein Daag’ may not have impressed her fans which lead to both the Yashraj flicks terribly bombing at the box-office.

This time things might be different as Rani is ready to bounce back with a cricket bat. Yashraj is ready to recreate their ‘Chak De’ sports magic on-screen, and this time the production house has picked cricket instead of hockey.

Rani will be seen wearing the captain’s cap for a Test match in the movie; the actress will be going through a formal training to learn to play cricket like a pro.

Shimit Amin, the man who directed ‘Chak De’, is likely to be roped in to direct this movie as well as he has proved his talent when it comes to working with sports genre movies.

Rani will be seen in a complete makeover look to go with her role to go with the cricket gear.

The actress is trying hard to bounce back in Bollywood, so while her arch rival Preity may own an IPL cricket team, Rani wants to prove that she is the true Queen of Cricket.
